How far is too far?
This is a question that is disputed all over the hunting community. I recently heard Steve Rinella say “If you shoot and are surprised you hit the animal that’s too far.” I will take that a step farther and say come in 10 yards from the distance you feel comfortable at. My first thought is that this is way too far. I did some research on John Dudley and he was an Olympic archer. 105 yards with a bow makes me feel uncomfortable, but who am I to question one of the best archers in the world?
