A champion hunting dog has turned up missing and is believed to have been stolen.
According to WCTV, a labrador retriever, named Boss was attending a field and hunting trial competition in Boston, Georgia. He last was seen sleeping in his crate that was in his owner’s vehicle.
Boss is a nationally recognized champion in hunting and retrieving and is valued at $85,000 by its owner.
The dog has been missing since late October and deputies believe he was stolen. They are following a few leads, and one of the main suspects is from California.
