As it turns out the US is not the only country with a wild pig problem. Our friends from down under are over run with them. That should really not surprise anyone, Australia may be the invasive species capitol of the world. They have so many non-natives that they are trying to keep under control it is ridiculas.
When it comes to hunting for invasive it seems anything goes. In the US we have employed helicopters; in the Outback they use different tactics. The hunting Collar the Dogs posted their eradication technique of chasing them down with a side by side using a shot gun with buck shot to seal the deal.
The video starts with the hunter laying out the plan. He waits till the pigs get comfortable and move a long distance from cover. He sounds the alarm to get them moving and then it is game on.
Call me crazy but looks pretty fun. Would you give it a go?
