Alyssa Milano is a woke celebrity mostly known for her roles on Charmed and Whos the Boss. Alyssa and her husband, Dave Bugliari, said they had dialed 911 when they heard what they believed to be gunshots on their property.
The call led to seven Ventura County Sheriffs vehicles, one K-9 unit, a police helicopter, and a Los Angeles Fire Department team to protect the celebrity. Law enforcement guarded the entire perimeter of her street while they searched for the perpetrator. Milano had recently tweeted #DefundThePolice.
According to the daily mail, The description given to the police was a 40-year-old male with a long rifle. Police efforts were stopped suddenly when a teenage boy turned himself in. It turns out the teenager was hunting squirrels with an air rifle.
In July, Milano tweeted a link to ‘People’s Budget L.A.’ that demands a 90 percent reduction in police funding.
Squirrel season is currently open in California, but we were unable to confirm if hunting was allowed in the neighborhood.
Things are getting crazier out there every day. Even though this was obviously a false alarm. Imagine if it was not and also if you were not a high profile celerity that could call in the cavalry if they felt threatened. That is one of the many reasons for the 2nd amendment. To many times we will be left to defend ourselves especially if celebrates like Alyssa Milano have their way and defund the police.
Having a gun to protect yourself is very important. The same thing goes for having a plan on what to do if you actually have to use it. Our friends at USCCA can help with that plan and get you protected for when you protect your family.
