Hunter Says God Caught Him During Tree Stand Fall

Do you believe in miracles? This hunter defiantly does. He fell from a tree stand and on his way to the hospital the the EMS tech found a bruise in the shape of a hand print on his side. He was by himself when the accident happened and the only explanation they can give is God broke his fall.

The following was posted to Facebook by Phillip Faulk. He states that he copied the message from a “Local Hunting group” We have been unable to find the group or substantiate the story, but right now it is spreading across social media like wildfire.

Hey, guys and ladies. First off I want to thank Brian Douglas Wilson and all of you for your prayers today. This morning I fell 20 feet hit the ground and was out for about 30 minutes. When I came to I tried to get up shake it off but could not move and my back was hurting to the point I was sick to my stomach. Well after gaining my composure I was able to get to my phone and call my wife letting her know what had happened. After about 30 minutes she showed along with my son and one of his buddies Ronnie Lovejoy. They called 911 and got help. While I was on the way to the hospital the EMS guy was like hey bud tell me was you by yourself when you fell. I told him yea. He said well God caught you before you hit the ground because you have a giant handprint on your side. After getting to the hospital I was asked many more times about the handprint and my mom took this picture around an hour later. After many tests were ran, I have bruised my backbone pretty bad and its swollen to the point it’s hard to walk, my right shoulder is really swollen, I have a knot on my head where I knocked myself out, but nothing is broken and now I’m resting at home. Let me tell yall something God is for real and today he caught me right before I hit the ground and even though I’m hurting pretty bad, it could have been a lot worse.”

Yes, things could have been a whole lot worse. Thankfully God had his hand in this situation. Honestly, I do not know if it was God’s literal handprint on the hunter, but God was definitely with him. He could of easily died from such a fall.

Now for all you other hunters out there, do not expect God to catch you. Wear your harness!
