A Montana man who was out target-shooting became a target himself when another shooter unloaded a barrage of gunfire toward him after mistaking him for Bigfoot. The 27-year-old target shooter told police that he was hanging targets when bullets started flying by his head. He added that he ran behind a tree before confronting the shooter in his F-150.
“I thought you were Bigfoot,” the victim says the shooter told him. “I don’t target practice — but if I see something that looks like Bigfoot, I just shoot at it.”
When I was younger, I saw Bigfoot while bow hunting. I only realized later that it was my cousin walking through the field in a gillie suit. This is just another reason why we should not shoot at Bigfoot. No one can be certain of what they are shooting.
I also want to point out that most articles, including one from Fox News, are calling this idiot a hunter. They have not found this guy and have no evidence that he is a hunter. I think it is important to point out that not every crazy person with a gun is a hunter. In my experience, hunters tend to be the most responsible gun owners I have met.
