Michael Jordan, who many consider the greatest basketball player of all-time, is also not too shabby of a fisherman. His fishing team is making a big splash at a North Carolina bill-fishing tournament.
According to TMZ, Jordan’s boat the Catch 23 pulled in a 442.3-pound blue marlin during the 62nd Annual Big Rock Blue Marlin Tournament in Morehead City, North Carolina this week. The tournament pays out over $3.4 million in prizes.
Although the fish is a whopper it only land Jordan in 5th place in the tournament. The first place fish weighed in at 494.2-lb. However the tournament goes through the 13th of June so there is still time for Jordan to move up the leader board.
Jordan is no stranger to big-money fishing tournaments. He has competed in a number in the past including the White Marlin Open in 2019.
