I have caught a few nice yellow perch in my day but I have never caught one even close to the size of the one Kyle Torarski pulled through the ice. This fish is a beast.
In the video, Kyle gives the dimensions the fish is 17 inches long with a 16-inch girth and an estimated weight of around 3.5 pounds. Based on the comments on the video the fish was caught in Green Bay.
I looked up the Wisconson State record and it sits at 3.4 pounds, so Kyle could have potentially caught the new state record, but we will never know because he released the fish unharmed due to the season being closed.
That is defiantly the fish of a lifetime.
