Owner Of Gun Store Gives Heartfelt Message After Closing His Doors Because of Coronavirus

Fin, Feather, and Fur Outfitters is the premier hunting and fishing store in Northeast Ohio, and on Friday they closed their doors for the foreseeable future.

The CEO and Owner went to Facebook and explained his decision. The company has had record-breaking sales over the last few days and was making money hand over fist. But He felt the right thing to do was to close the doors for the protection of his employees and his customers.

It was a decision he has been wrestling with for a long time, but he chose to do what he thought was best for everyone. Sure He could have made a bunch of money by staying open, but he did not think it was right.

He said he would not be able to live with himself if his store remained open and it was the cause for any of his staff to lose a child or a parent. He has been in this position before, he reveals that when he was 19 a friend was killed by a decision he made. That decision has haunted him for the rest of his life.

He did not ever want to be in that position again, so he decided the best course of action was to close his doors and do what is best for his employees and community.

It was a tough decision to close the doors of the company he has poured his heart and soul into, but he believes he is doing the right thing.

Thank you, Mike, for your commitment to your employees and your customers. I for one will continue to frequent your establishment when all of this blows over and you reopen your doors. Until then God bless you and everyone working for you.
