Pastor Seth Marsh was hunting coyotes in Alexandria, North Carolina when he was accidentally shot by a neighbor. The neighbor reportedly heard the electronic call that was sitting next to Marsh and mistook him for a coyote. He shot Marsh twice in the chest.
According to Fox 23, Marsh died a short time later at a hospital in Wilkes County. He was a father of two young children and a preacher at a church in the northern part of the county.
“It’s sad to say that he will not see his little boy play sports or get to see his daughter walk down the aisle one day,” church member Coy Pearson said
Deputies hope to be finished with the investigation soon and make any recommendations to prosecutors.
