In the outdoor world camouflage is big business and when someone uses your pattern without permission it is a big deal. Jordan Outdoor Enterprises Ltd, the owners of Realtree camo filed a lawsuit against YEEZY and UNKNWN, Clothing companies owned by Kanya West and Lebron James.
They claim that the companies used their Realtree camo pattern without permission. The companies used the pattern on hoodies, thigh-high boots, pants, hooded bomber jackets, shirts, boots and other products marketed under their brands
According to TMZ, a rep from Yeezy contacted Jordan to discuss using the camo patterns, but when the folks at Jordan said Kanye’s company needed to license the items, they went radio silent and then without authorization they went ahead and copied the patterns.
Jordan is asking a judge not only for damage, but to stop Kanye’s company from selling the items in question and to turn over and destroy the items that already exist.
One of the items the YEEZY Season 5 camouflage Cargo pants retail for $345.00
