Researchers discover new turtle species

A new species of alligator snapping turtle has been discovered near West Palm Beach, Florida. Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission announced some exciting further information on the new species.

According to the researchers, six traps were set in New River. New River is a 31 mile long tributary of the Santa Fe River north of Gainseville.
