The Brewster buck just keeps getting bigger. At first it seems like the green score was low balled, until the official Boone and Crockett and announced as the new world record. Now the score increased again after the Pope and Young Club panal scored the buck.
According to Pope and Young, on Friday, March 1st, the Pope and Young Club convened a Special Panel of Judges to score the monster buck shot by Luke Brewster in Illinois. It is no surprise that the buck easily beat the former record, but everyone was sent into shock when the final score was evieled
Brewster’s buck was measured at the 2019 ATA Show where it scored 320 5/8. The P&Y panel upped that score by over seven inches. The Brewster Buck was given a final score of 327 7/8.
Even Brewster was taken back with the news.
I headed to Omaha with a good feeling but still a tad nervous on how the scorers were going to make calls,” said Luke Brewster. “I knew it was scored very conservatively on the initial entry form by measurer Tim Walmsley, but you never know. After a day and a half of waiting in anticipation, Eli Randall informed me of the new panel verified score. I was sent into shock once again as the score increased 7 2/8” from the original entry. Unbelievable. All I can say is that I’m very blessed.”
Congratulations Luke Awesome buck at the rate these scores keep increasing pretty soon it might beat the Missouri Monarch or the Hole in the Horn Buck, Just kidding.
