The host of Hunt Masters TV Charged With Wonton Waste and Baiting Violations

It seems like every year celebrity hunters get charged with hunting violations. You would think that after so many TV hunters have lost their careers because of it they would be extra careful to follow the law.

The latest celebrity hunter to be charged with a hunting violation is Gregg Ritz of Hunt Masters. Who has been charged in Missouri for illegally killing a deer over bait and wonton waste.

The two charges were filed in Boone County, MO on January 2, 2020.
Case Numbers 460150 and 460149 respectively.

Portions of the investigation were posted online detailing the violations.

As of now, these are just charges and Mr. Ritz will have his day in court. Which is scheduled for April 29, 2020.

This is not the first time Gregg Ritz has been charged with wild game violations. His company Game Trails was fined $50,000 back in 2009 after he pled guilty to lacy act violations and making false statements to Kentucky wildlife officers.
