Turkey typically fights using the spurs on their legs. They scratch and claw at each other to show dominance. Many people do not realize that it is not the only way for a turkey to show dominance.
Most fights are short and amount to little more than chest-bumping and hitting each other with their wings. Sometimes fights escalate and lead to the turkey tangling their necks and putting the other turkey in a beak lock.
This type of fight is rare to see in the woods. Chase Mosner captured this video in Pennsylvania of two turkey fighting.
